[:ID]BANGLADESH.

“Getting decent food is very difficult right now,” said Muhammad Nais (11 yrs), one of Rohingya’s children at the Bangladesh refugee camp (08/02).

There are hundreds of thousands of Rohingya children living in improper conditions in refugee camps. They live in simple tents with makeshift facilities.

“They cannot get out of the refugee camps so they cannot work either. Therefore, they are difficult to meet the needs of everyday life, including food needs, “said Andri Murdianto, Crisic Center Rumah Zakat.

Nais and his friends living in Balukhali Camp, Ukhiya, Bangladesh never thought that their life would turn 180 degrees as today. How not, in the past, the life of Nais and his family in Maungdaw, Myanmar is already well off, even they have livestock-which became the standard of the rich people in Maungdaw.

However, early September 2017, Nais and his family and other Rohingyas in Maungdaw were forced to leave their village and go to Bangladesh. They go through the rough terrain, from the river to the wilderness for months.

Now, for 5 months Nais has lived in a refugee camp, his life is no longer the same. No camps, no schools, limited health facilities, inadequate water sanitation and poor food. Nais is very happy to get help in the form of Superqurban corned beef brought by Rumah Zakat Humanitarian Team.

“Alhamdulillah, I can finally eat meat, I want to share for my siblings and parents,” he said innocently.
