Baalbek, September 5, 2026 — Rumah Zakat provided humanitarian aid through its “Hot Meals” program for children in the city of Baalbek, Lebanon. A total of 433 children benefited from the project, which took place on the fifth of September on Saturday.
The Hot Meals program is part of a social assistance initiative focused on meeting nutritional needs while creating a safe and enjoyable environment for children.
During the occasion, children were participated in play and recreational activities within a safe setting. Afterward, they were served a nutritious and balanced lunch.
The activity was designed to offer broader benefits; beyond addressing nutritional needs, the shared activities provided a space for children to interact and build positive relationships with their peers.
Through group activities, the children were encouraged to develop their communication, mutuality, and teamwork skills.
The Hot Meals program also serves as a means to instill values of care and social solidarity in the children.
The experience of playing together, enjoying a meal, and interacting in a positive atmosphere was intended to bring happiness and create meaningful memories for them.
