[:ID]SUMATERA UTARA. Kepala Pusat Data, Informasi, dan Humas Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) Sutopo Purwo Nugroho mengatakan, kapal KM Sinar Bangun tenggelam di perairan Danau Toba, Sumatera Utara, pada pukul 17.30 WIB.

“Kapal KM. Sinar Bangun karam di perairan Danau Toba Prapat diduga akibat cuaca buruk,” katanya, Senin (18/6/2018).

Sutopo menerangkan, kapal berbahan kayu tersebut tenggelam saat membawa sekitar 80 penumpang dari Pelabuhan Simanindo, Kabupaten Samosir, menuju Tigaras Parapar, Kabupaten Simalungun.

Tidak adanya informasi jelas jumlah penumpang kapal sehingga menyulitkan pendataan korban dalam 2 hari ini, Senin (18/06) hingga Selasa (19/06). Sementara itu, keluarga korban terus berdatangan ke lokasi.

Respon Rumah Zakat dalam tragedi tersebut langsung menerjunkan 10 relawan dan bantuan makanan siap saji untuk keluarga korban dan tim evakuasi yang masih mencari para korban. “Kami menerjunkan 10 orang relawan untuk bantu di lokasi, serta membawa bantuan makanan siap saji karena informasi yang kami dapatkan kalo pencarian akan memakan waktu lama mungkin berhari-hari.

Makanan dan minuman itu akan sangat bermanfaat bagi keluarga korban atau tim evakuasi,” tutur Budi Syahputra Branch Manager Rumah Zakat Medan.

Saat ini sudah ada 18 korban yang ditemukan dan 1 orang diantaranya meninggal dunia.

“Kami turut berduka atas tenggelamnya kapal tersebut, Rumah Zakat akan ikut membantu kebutuhan di lokasi. Semoga banyak korban yang selamat dan keluarga korban diberikan ketabahan. Aamin,” ungkap Budi.

Rumah Zakat Response in the tragedy directly deployed 10 volunteers and fast food aid to the victims’ families and the evacuation team who are still searching for the victims. “We deploy 10 volunteers to help on site, as well as bringing fast food aid because the information we get if the search will take a long time may take days.
